Thank you to everyone who supported our event and a special thank you to the award winners for their incredible service to the state of Georgia. The State Senate award recipients were Senators Matt Brass who was awarded for his role on the Rules Committee advancing the Senate’s agenda, Ben Watson for ending woke gender surgeries and protecting our children, Drew Echols for his essential work for hurricane relief and aid to agribusiness, and Randy Robertson for his efforts protecting the sanctity of life. State House award recipients included Speaker Pro Tem Jan Jones for her incredible improvements to our education system and championing at-risk students, Representatives Will Wade who was awarded for his historic investments in police, EMS, and all first responders, Martin Momtahan for safeguarding and securing Georgia’s elections, and Lehman Franklin for his work protecting IVF and ensuring every Georgian can start a family. Statewide Education Tour on Tort Reform In partnership with the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, we continued our Statewide Education Tour in Savannah with a panel discussion on tort reform. Thank you Senator Ben Watson, Whip James Burchett, and Rep. Carl Gilliard for breaking down how these bills will lower costs for job creators and insurance ratepayers.
