Senator Joni Ernst has failed Iowa. She promised to be an anti-establishment candidate, but instead she’s one of Trump’s fiercest allies.

She’s on board with abolishing the Department of Education, which would cut millions of dollars in federal funding to Iowa public schools with no concrete plan to keep vital programs like Head Start going. She also supports cutting Social Security and Medicare, two programs millions of Iowans rely on.

And what is she up to now? Ernst is the head of Elon Musk’s DOGE caucus. In the name of finding fraud, waste and abuse, this organization has single-handedly eliminated USDA federal workers, AmeriCorps members, and 15 programs all across Iowa with no accountability on actual tax dollars saved.

Iowa needs a U.S. Senator who will help boost our economy, protect our rural communities, and fight for our public schools.

Joni Ernst has done none of those things.
