Seven years after Parkland, Citi abandoned their promise to protect our lives.
John, Citigroup is backing down — but we won’t.
Seven years ago, after 17 of our classmates and teachers were murdered in Parkland, we demanded change. Our movement put corporate America on notice.
At the time, Citigroup listened. They took a stand, restricting gun sales and refusing to finance weapons sold to teenagers. They did it because young people like us made it impossible to look away.
Now, Citi has chosen to walk away from that commitment. They’re bowing to political pressure, appeasing Donald Trump and the gun lobby — abandoning the very values they once claimed to support.
Our lives were never a PR strategy. Our safety isn’t a political calculation. And when Citi had the chance to stand firm, they chose profits over people.
But we won’t back down. March For Our Lives was built to hold power accountable — whether it’s politicians, lobbyists, or corporations who enable this crisis. And we need you with us.
Chip in $20.25 or whatever you can today. Help us keep the pressure on, and make sure no company can ever trade young people’s lives for political gain again.

We’ve forced change before. And with your help, we’ll do it again.
