John,

Many of our federal officials are working hard — to take away health care and food assistance from millions of people. So while the Alabama legislative session may be over, our foot is still on the gas to help protect our neighbors from relentless, chaotic federal attacks on the rights and well-being of Alabamians.

We have a goal of raising $10,000 for Alabama Arise Action between now and June 30 to fund our visits to meet with our federal lawmakers and circulate action alerts in opposition to the proposed Medicaid and SNAP cuts.

Will you donate today to Arise Action and get us closer to our goal? A gift of any amount helps protect Medicaid and SNAP!

Protect essential programs!

Alabama Arise Action is the 501(c)(4) partner organization to Alabama Arise. Supporting either organization builds a better Alabama. Gifts to Alabama Arise Action specifically give us heightened flexibility for lobbying and advocacy as we ramp up our action with Congress.

Food and health care are basic human needs. While our lawmakers promised to lower essential costs for families, many are instead trying to make the largest cuts to Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in American history. These cuts would devastate Alabama’s families in the name of funding more tax breaks for billionaires.

At the same time, many in Congress are seeking to put many nonprofits that advocate under heightened scrutiny, hoping to silence their opposition. While we navigate uncertain waters, it’s become more important than ever to shore up funding for Alabama Arise Action.

Will you give a gift to Alabama Arise Action today? Your support today protects and expands our advocacy to hold the line for Alabamians living paycheck to paycheck.

Donate today!

Thank you for standing with us.

Sincerely,

Robyn Hyden, Executive Director
