Team, Thank you to all the New Mexicans who joined our Voices of New Mexico tour! By the numbers, we spent 4 days on the road, stopped in 8 different counties, spent around 20 hours driving more than 1,300 miles, and had the privilege of talking to over 200 New Mexicans. Members of our team talked to veterans, servicemembers, educators, parents, and grandparents, and we’re looking forward to sharing their stories over the coming weeks. We asked folks about their concerns and how the Trump administration is impacting them and their communities. We’ve heard folks’ fears about losing Medicaid, their Social Security checks not arriving, or their medications no longer being covered. We’ve talked to veterans, servicemembers, and their families about our foreign policy — and whether or not they’re safer now than they were before. We’ve talked to educators and parents about what’s going on in our schools, and making sure our children get the future they deserve.
