URGENT: The Madleen freedom flotilla was just seized. A people-powered
uprising is taking shape.
Now it’s our turn to act.
Shipping giant Maersk is still sending weapons to Israel including parts
for its F-35 warplanes. More than ever we must keep up the pressure on
Maersk to act.

The Madleen, a civilian ship carrying food to Gaza, was just intercepted
by the Israeli navy as it tried to break Israel’s illegal blockade. A
people-powered uprising is taking shape—from the sea to the ports.
Now it’s our turn to act.
Maersk–one of the world’s largest shipping giants–is at the heart of
Israel’s weapons pipeline. A new investigation revealed over 1,000
shipments of military cargo to Israel, including parts that keep F-35
warplanes armed and bombing. Shipments went out just weeks ago—and more
are on the way.
The tide is turning. From the Madleen freedom flotilla to dockworkers
refusing to load weapons, people are taking action. As governments and
corporations distance themselves from the Israeli government, a global
surge of public pressure could be what finally forces Maersk to act.

machine.
Earlier today, the Madleen was intercepted by the Israeli navy on
livestream. Greta Thunberg, one of the passengers, said: “Every single one
of us has a moral obligation to do everything we can to fight for a free
Palestine.” Around the world, people are doing just that.
Last week, dockworkers in France and the Netherlands refused to load
weapons destined for Israel’s annihilatory war in Gaza.
Maersk has shipped parts for engines, targeting systems, and bomb-loading
gear for the F-35 warplane. These jets have dropped 2,000-pound bombs on
homes and refugee camps—wiping out entire families in seconds.
Maersk’s hands are dirty. The UN has called on companies to end arms
transfers to Israel or risk complicity in war crimes. With enough
pressure, we can force Maersk to act.

This year at Maersk’s annual meeting, we made them fold. After months of
denial, they finally admitted that they ship military cargo to Israel
following our shareholder resolution. We ran hard-hitting ads, flooded
their socials, and backed it with a global coalition. The pressure is
working. Let’s turn it up.
