Team, I wanted to reach out with an update on our progress pushing back against Trump’s agenda and fighting for the people of Oregon.

I’ve spent the past month doing everything in my power to oppose House Republicans’ cruel plan to steal millions of hardworking Americans’ Medicaid and SNAP benefits to pay for Donald Trump’s billionaire tax break.

I fought their budget bill in committee, voted NO on the House floor, and even turned to this grassroots team to dial up the pressure on Congress to reject any cuts to these critical programs.

But to me, no matter how bad things are, leadership has to go beyond simply saying “No” to things. So I also kept up the work to tackle real problems facing my community. I’ve introduced bills to provide disaster relief for farmworkers, accelerate America's wildfire readiness, create a new scholarship program for students entering behavioral health programs, and there’s even more to come.

I promise to always keep up this fight for Oregon, because team, I refuse to give up when the stakes are this high.

But with National Republicans eyeing OR-06 to replace me with a rubber stamp for Trump’s agenda, I’m turning to this grassroots team to back me up: Please, can I count on you to chip in $10 to help me hold the line for Oregon’s working families in Congress? They’ve come close to flipping this seat twice, and they won’t hesitate to come at me again to expand their House majority. →
