Donald Trump had a busy weekend. He warned Elon Musk against supporting Democrats in 2026, deployed 2,000 members of the California National Guard to Los Angeles and rolled tanks into Washington D.C., for an authoritarian-style parade on his birthday. 

 

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court allowed DOGE to continue rummaging through Social Security data, dealing a significant setback to a lawsuit aiming to bring the same transparency to DOGE as is expected from other federal agencies.
