Statement of Mark Krikorian before House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency,
June 4, 2025
Excerpt: During the 2021-2025 administration of President Joe Biden, the United States devoted significant taxpayer funds to a network formed in 2019 that consisted of United Nations agencies and non-government organizations (NGOs). The partnership established aid waystations all along Latin American illegal-migration routes, and it encouraged and facilitated at least 10 million foreign nationals from 180 countries to cross the U.S. southern border during those four years – at U.S. taxpayer expense.

More Immigration Won’t Lead to a Higher Birthrate ([link removed])
By Mark Krikorian, June 3, 2025
Excerpt: It is in this context that the Journal published its number-free column on immigration as a way to boost fertility. Luckily, colleagues of mine at the Center for Immigration Studies crunched the numbers—and it turns out immigration does little, if anything, to increase the overall fertility rate, at least in the United States.

Colorado Attack Shows Why ICE Can’t Just Focus on ‘Criminals’ ([link removed])
By Andrew R. Arthur, June 3, 2025
Excerpt: On Sunday, Mohamed Sabry Soliman — an Egyptian national admitted under the Biden administration who overstayed a tourist visa — was named as a suspect in a heinous anti-Semitic attack in Boulder, Colo. His arrest shows why “border czar” Tom Homan can’t just focus on criminal illegal aliens.

Supreme Court Helping Trump Undo One of Biden’s Most Egregious Migrant Moves ([link removed])
By George Fishman, June 2, 2025
Excerpt:While the Supreme Court’s reprieve doesn’t assure that the Court will ultimately rule in the administration’s favor, it is good news for now. For these parole programs were some of the most egregious misdeeds of Alejandro Mayorkas, President Biden’s Secretary of Homeland Security.

Can We Deport Foreigners Advocating Evil? ([link removed])
By George Fishman, June 2, 2025
Excerpt: It seems like a pretty commonsense proposition that a nation need not tolerate guests who celebrate and advocate mass murder. As Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., has written, “While American citizens may have a First Amendment right to speak disgusting vitriol if they so choose, no foreign national has a right to advocate for terrorism in the United States.”

What Is Behind the Anti-Borders Personality? ([link removed])
By Ian Smith
Excerpt: Every supporter of CIS will know well the term “xenophobic.” They might have even been smeared with the label by globalist/anti-borders types before. But far fewer will know its antonym: “xenophilia”, or love, rather than fear, of the foreigner.
WaPo Befuddled by Decline in Fentanyl ([link removed])
By Andrew R. Arthur
Excerpt: On May 31, the Washington Post examined — but failed to find a dispositive reason for — a decline in fentanyl seizures at the Southwest border. Perhaps the capital’s “newspaper of record” should read the Center’s website, and in particular an explanation for this phenomenon by my erstwhile colleague Todd Bensman in early April, after he interviewed President Trump’s acting DEA administrator.
Did Joe Biden Really Parole In Nearly 3 Million Aliens? ([link removed])
By Andrew R. Arthur
Excerpt: Based on the information then available, I estimated in June 2024 that Bidens DHS had allowed 2.062 million-plus inadmissible aliens to enter the United States under what is supposed to be the extremely narrow parole authority in section 212(d)(5)(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).
Immigration Remains Trump’s Strongest Issue in Latest Harvard/Harris Poll ([link removed])
By Andrew R. Arthur
Excerpt: Trump had an 87 percent approval rating among GOP voters, 11 percent of whom disapproved of the job that he is doing since his return to the Oval Office. Conversely, 84 percent of Democratic voters disapproved of Trump’s performance, compared to 14 percent of those in the Party of Jackson who are fine with a second helping of the man.
