Republican Senator Joni Ernst recently held a town hall, where she faced questions over her support for the GOP’s bill that would slash Medicaid and kick millions of people off their health insurance.

Here’s what she said when her constituents brought up the possibility of people dying because of the health care cuts in this bill: 

“Well, we all are going to die.”
