Team – after making a big to-do about his supposed “opposition” to Trump’s “big beautiful bill,” Ron Johnson is trying to keep Trump from lashing out at him:

Johnson is stuck between Trump and Musk. He may have cooled down his rhetoric, but Johnson has claimed that he hasn’t “changed his position at all” — a position that would take an even bigger axe to vital programs like Medicaid and SNAP — and has stated "I agree with Elon Musk. I can understand why he's disappointed,” when it comes to Trump’s bill.
So who is Johnson going to side with? A would-be mad-king in Trump? Or a wannabee dictator like Elon Musk who saw Wisconsin end his political career?
Either way, Wisconsin loses because we know that, whoever Johnson sides with, he is going to support cuts to vital programs that over a million Wisconsinites rely on.
That’s why we need to start putting in the work right now: so we can kick him out of the Senate and elect a leader who will work for us.
