Hey there,

It’s John Padora. This email will be a bit longer than usual, so I hope you’ll
read all the way through. But if you don’t have time, I hope you’ll spare a
moment to chip in to my campaign.

In no other developed nation on the planet do people go bankrupt over medical
bills the way we do in America. And in places like rural Colorado, that crisis
hits even harder. Too many families in our district are one broken bone, one
cancer diagnosis, one job loss awayfrom losing everything.

I know, because that was my family.

When I was five years old, my dad was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Overnight, everything changed. We went from living the American dream to
surviving the American nightmare. We lost nearly everything—but we stayed
afloat because of Medicaid and SNAP.

These weren’t handouts. They were lifelines. They were the reason we made it
through.

That’s why I’m in this fight. Because families across Eastern Colorado are
just like mine.

Lauren Boebert voted for Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill”, a brutal attack that
would rip Medicaid away from more than 110,000 people in our district
alone—including 43,000 children, and thousands of seniors, disabled folks, and
working families just trying to get by.

It’s heartless. It’s wrong. But it’s no less than what we’ve come to expect
from Lauren Boebert.

When I get to Congress, I won’t just protect Medicaid—I’ll expand it. I’ll
fight to guarantee healthcare for every American, because it’s long past time
we got with the times.

I don’t think it’s controversial to say that everyone—rich or poor—deserves to
see a doctor and receive treatment when they’re sick. Lauren Boebert doesn’t
see it that way. She’ll fight tooth and nail for tax breaks for billionaires,
but rolls over to rip healthcare from working families.

If we’re going to take this fight and our message to every town, farm, truck
stop, and union hall across Eastern Colorado—we need to raise $5,000 this week.
Not for TV ads or consultants—for gas, flyers, local organizers, and a message
that speaks truth to power.

If you're sick of politicians who talk tough and vote cruel, chip in today and
let's fight for healthcare, dignity, and real representation—together.

Let’s show them what happens when working people rise up.
