Friend —
A 24-year-old Democrat just pulled off a stunning upset in rural South Carolina—right in the heart of Senator Lindsey Graham’s turf.

Keishan Scott crushed his Republican opponent by nearly 41 points to win the special election for House District 50, making him the youngest member of our State House at just 24 years old. This massive win shows that even the most entrenched establishment figures are vulnerable. Lindsey Graham is feeling the pressure and knows just how vulnerable he truly is.
Scott ran on common-sense priorities like expanding healthcare, strengthening education, and rebuilding infrastructure—issues Lindsey Graham has ignored for decades. Voters rejected far-right, billionaire-driven politics in favor of a campaign powered by working families. This isn’t a one-off; it’s part of a broader Democratic “overperformance streak” that’s flipping seats across traditionally Republican districts.
Lindsey Graham has had 30 years to deliver for South Carolina. While our rural hospitals shutter and our schools struggle, he’s been too busy collecting corporate PAC checks and serving the wealthy few. But last night’s result proves that South Carolinians are done waiting. They want leaders who actually show up, not career politicians who forget where they came from.
I’m running against Lindsey to bring honest, accountable leadership back to D.C.—and to fight for the working people Lindsey’s left behind. But victories like Scott’s don’t happen on their own. We need grassroots support right now to keep this momentum going.
Will you chip in $20 or whatever you can afford today to help us build a campaign that can put pressure on Lindsey in every corner of our state?
Every dollar brings us closer to proving that people power can still win in South Carolina. When voters see a real alternative—one that refuses corporate PAC money and puts term limits on career politicians—we can keep winning races Lindsey once thought were safe.
Thanks for standing with me,
Lee Johnson
