I want to share two stories that make it crystal clear why this election is so important.

Last weekend in San Diego, federal agents arrested a violent Venezuelan national who was resisting arrest— and a TdA gang member. ( [link removed] ) These brave ICE agents put their lives on the line to keep us safe and unfortunately have seen a 413% increase in assaults.

But while they risk their lives, San Diego politicians are doing the unthinkable. City Councilman Sean Elo-Rivera posted a picture of ICE agents labeled “Terrorists” and urged people to “fight back ( [link removed] ).” His colleagues applauded him. This is what we’re up against—activist politicians who demonize law enforcement and side with criminals over the safety of our communities.

Second, at this weekend’s CIF State Track and Field Championships, a male—AB Hernandez—was allowed to compete against girls. Hernandez took first place in the girls’ high jump and second in the long jump. ( [link removed] ) Let me be clear: Hernandez’s marks wouldn’t have even qualified him for the boys’ state finals.

This is the madness my opponent voted for: allowing men to take medals, scholarships, and opportunities away from female athletes. It’s wrong, it’s dangerous, and it has to stop.

These are the stakes of this election—whether we keep our communities safe and stand up for fairness, or whether we let radical politicians continue to push their dangerous agenda.

I’m fighting back—but I need your help. If you’re ready to stand with me, chip in to help us win this fight and take back our future. ( [link removed] )
