As states and economies begin to slowly re-open, there is one challenge that will persist: Too many families in our community will go to bed hungry tonight.
Thankfully, critical programs and charitable organizations that provide food assistance for people in need are working hard to change that.
A Single Bite is providing meals for local families right now, and they could use some support from Team Delgado to continue this work.
This work means so much to us because it shows we're building a campaign of love by the community, for the community.
And this week, we want to send some of our love and our support to A Single Bite. Can you please donate so they can continue feeding families?
A Single Bite's mission began by working with community partners and volunteers to provide food for underprivileged school children. But with the pandemic putting millions out of work and making access to food assistance more difficult, they stepped up to care for our communities.
Since March,
A Single Bite has raised more than $100,000 and prepared and delivered over 10,000 meals to families in need.
We're hoping -- with your help -- we can empower their efforts to feed even more of our hungry neighbors.
