Here are a few top Team Elise updates and stories we have been tracking for the past week!

Elise Launches SAVE NEW YORK PAC

Elise launched Save New York, a new New York State political action committee to support Republican candidates across New York in 2025, and laying the groundwork to save New York by firing Kathy Hochul in 2026.

This initiative builds upon Elise’s record of strategic grassroots organizing, development of the most prolific small and high dollar fundraising list of any Republican in the state ever, and candidate selection and support to grow Republican representation throughout the Empire State.

Elise has raised tens of millions of dollars to support New York Republicans in prior elections. Democrats have spent more money to defeat Elise than any other Republican in the last decade. And she has delivered victory after victory, winning not just Republican voters, but independent and Democrat voters as well!

Elise stated —

“Kathy Hochul is the worst Governor in America and she is leading a failed Democrat Party. After years of failed single party Democrat rule in New York, it has never been more clear that we need strong, commonsense Republican leadership in New York. Save New York will focus on supporting Republican candidates and campaigns in local elections this November to build the groundwork for 2026. I am proud of the strong support my political team has developed over the past decade due to the generous support from New York voters and donors who have built our political apparatus into a fundraising and political juggernaut to deliver policies that benefit hardworking New York families."

Elise Receives Staten Island GOP’s Lincoln Legacy Award

This week, Elise was the guest of honor at the Staten Island Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner, where she was honored with the Lincoln Legacy Award.

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis delivered a fantastic introduction, praising Elise’s leadership and their shared commitment to hardworking families in New York. The evening on Staten Island was filled with high energy and enthusiasm, with notable guests, including 77 WABC radio host Sid Rosenberg and newly elected New York City Councilman Frank Morano, in attendance.

This great Lincoln Day Dinner drew a packed crowd of energized supporters, all reflecting a renewed hope for a stronger, safer, and more affordable New York after beating Kathy Hochul and the Democrats in 2026.

Elise stated –

“We have the highest tax state in the nation under single-party Democrat rule led by Kathy Hochul. We have sky-high regulations that are running small businesses out of our state. We’re seeing an abysmal economic outlook. Leadership matters. We are focused like a laser on putting New Yorkers first, putting our constituents first, and delivering real results every day. That’s what I’m known for in my district that’s what our next governor needs to be known for, putting New Yorkers first. But we didn’t stop there. I don’t hide from tough fights. When we run, we run to win. Democrats raised more money to defeat me than any other Republican member of Congress on the East Coast. We fought and we won. We out-raised them, we outworked them, and put up the highest margin of any Republican in the Northeast. Are we ready to fire Kathy Hochul next year in the State of New York?”

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis stated –

“I believe that Elise Stefanik would make a great governor because she would reinstate common sense, put public safety first, and make New York affordable once again. Those are the things that Republicans, Democrats and Independents are desperately seeking. We want to end New York’s disastrous one-party rule, and she is our best shot to fire Kathy Hochul and get someone who will put New York’s hardworking taxpayers first.”

Staten Island GOP Chairwoman Michael Tannousis stated –

“I’m happy that she came here today. We had a very strong showing of Republicans in Staten Island, with a room packed full of people, and a lot of support and enthusiasm for her, for President Trump and the Republican ideals on Staten Island.”

Elise’s Statement on the Antisemitic Terrorist Attack in Boulder

Last weekend, our nation was shaken when a radical Islamic terrorist threw Molotov cocktails at peaceful pro-Israel demonstrators holding a vigil for the return of Hama’s hostages in Boulder, Colorado.

Elise condemns this violence in the strongest possible terms and will continue calling for accountability and increased federal attention to the rising antisemitic violence across the United States.

Elise stated –

“I am heartbroken watching the footage of the horrific attack in Boulder, Colorado.

A peaceful group of pro-Israel demonstrators holding a vigil for the hostages was reportedly attacked and set fire with Molotov cocktails by pro-Palestinian terrorists.

This appears to be yet another act of antisemitic terrorism on U.S. soil. I’m praying for the victims and will continue demanding that the criminals responsible are brought to justice.”

Elise Joins Sid Rosenberg’s #1 New York Radio Show

Elise joined her good friend Sid Rosenberg this week on his #1 New York morning radio show on 77 WABC, where the two discussed the current landscape of New York politics, Elise’s record of flipping and defending tough districts, and the growing grassroots momentum behind her potential run for New York governor.

Elise stated –

“If we run Sid, I’m going to run to win. I do not run for second place, and if you look back to when I first ran for Congress in 2014, that was quite a long time ago. I’m the dean of the New York delegation, the longest serving New York Republican member. We flipped the district. It was a district that was held by a Democrat. It’s hard to remember because this is the North Country.

It was a Democrat that only won by a point or two. It was one of the mostly contested districts in the nation that Republicans didn’t even win in 2010, and there were few like that in New York State. We flipped that district by 20 points. What have we done since then? Democrats have sent more against me than any other Republican in New York State, and yet we have continued to rise up and outperform, winning independents and Democrats as well.

So this gubernatorial is not just about winning Republican voters it’s about winning independents and peeling off Democrat voters as well and being able to build a grassroots or action as well as a war chest to take on the desperation of today’s Democrat party, which is totally rudderless, and Kathy Hochul is just a failed candidate who does not excite voters even in her own Democratic party, even for her own lieutenant governor.

So we are putting the pieces together. If we do this, this will be the most well-funded, the most well organized statewide campaign since when we last won with George Pataki."

Sid Rosenberg stated –

“A rock star. This is a tremendous congresswoman, selfless. Now we’re all hoping and praying she runs for Governor. "

Elise on The Ben Shapiro Show

This week, Elise joined The Ben Shapiro Show to discuss launching the Save New York PAC, fighting back against the worst governor in America Kathy Hochul’s disastrous policies, and the best way to combat antisemitism on college campuses.

Elise stated –

“Well, you talk about how it’s a Democratic stronghold and the result of single-party, Democrat rule over the years. And in fact, I’ve seen this over the course of my lifetime. You’ve seen absolutely no rule of law. You’ve seen the release of criminals. You’ve seen putting illegals first, the highest taxed state in the nation, the least friendly to small businesses. We lead the nation in population exodus, and as a result, in the past few election cycles, no state has moved more to the Republican direction than New York state.

If you look at President Trump’s performance in 2024 he did historically well in communities in the Bronx and Queens, for example, than any other Republican on the ballot. If you look at 2022, when Lee Zeldin was on the ballot, he came within six points of defeating Kathy Hochul, who essentially is an accidental governor.

What is interesting today, Ben, and very concerning is you saw the Democrat mayoral primary last night, the debate, and it was the epitome of the just, absolute challenges and catastrophe in today’s Democrat Party, every single candidate has been on record for defunding the police. Every single Democrat candidate has supported failed bail reform, which, of course, caused this crime crisis and the skyrocketing of danger in New York State.

The polling shows that over 60% of New Yorkers want to elect someone new, and if you look at voter registration, it is increasingly Republican. So there is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to save New York once and for all, and that starts at the local level. As you know, I’ve been in office.

This is my 11th year in Congress. I flipped a district. We win not only Republicans, but Democrats and independents as well, and we’ve built up this local infrastructure and grassroots flipping multiple counties in my district. We’re hoping to do that across the state to lay the groundwork for next year to fire Kathy Hochul once and for all."

Elise Honors Our D-Day Heroes

81 years ago today, the heroes of the Greatest Generation stormed the beaches of Normandy to defend freedom and defeat tyranny. The opening day of the Battle of Normandy, saw men from NY-21, specifically the 299th Engineer Combat Battalion, participate in the Allied invasion of France. This battalion, comprised entirely of New Yorkers, was among the first American soldiers to land on Omaha Beach.

We honor their courage, sacrifice, and the legacy they left for future generations.
