Delegate Reaser Endorses Jay Jones for Virginia Attorney General
[[link removed]]
With Primary Day almost upon us, I wanted to take a minute to speak about why I endorsed Jay Jones for Attorney General. Whether it's taking on slumlords, the big banks, or the gun lobby, Jay has successfully worked for the everyday people’s interests. During his time in the House of Delegates, Jay fought for working Virginians by expanding Medicaid, giving teachers annual pay raises, and protecting Virginia from politicians with extreme agendas attempting to take away reproductive rights. It is because of his strong record of service, compassion for underserved communities, and vision for the future that I endorsed Jay Jones for Attorney General.
If you are interested in getting involved with Jay’s campaign for Attorney General, please click the button below to see how you can help get him over the finish line on June 17th.

Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission
The Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) stands as a leading legislative commission, renowned for publishing critical research reports on paramount issues facing Virginia. These issues include, but are not limited to, data center development, the comprehensive funding of public education, and the expansion of broadband access.
At its June meeting, the Commission deliberated on a proposal to transfer the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to the jurisdiction of the Secretary of Health and Human Resources, examined workforce and industry incentives amidst Virginia's evolving economic landscape, and reviewed the Auditor of Public Accounts' (APA) 2026 work plan.

Last Saturday, our community came together to celebrate the beginning of Pride Month and the struggles, contributions, and triumphs of our LGBTQ+ community. It was truly a treat to see so many community members come together for such an excellent festival! Many Houses of Worship, families, and community organizations convened to show their support.
Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Potowmack Elementary School
[[link removed]]
Our community recently convened to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Potowmack Elementary School, an institution that has become a cornerstone of our community. Potowmack has consistently supported residents in taking their initial steps on their educational journeys and has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of learners. Congratulations as well to Dr. Copeland on her retirement after serving our community for years.
This school holds significant personal meaning for me; my son attended Potowmack and benefited from exceptional educators, such as Dr. Copeland, who fostered his love of reading. Throughout my career in public service, I have actively collaborated with the school, including contributing to the establishment of a Spanish language immersion program during my tenure on the School Board. It has been a distinct pleasure to return to Potowmack Elementary on numerous occasions, both as a Delegate and as a School Board Member. Serving as both a sub and a TA, and a PTA mom, I say… once an Eagle, always an Eagle. Happy 30th Anniversary to Potowmack Elementary School. Here's to many more years of excellence!

How My Office Can Help
Navigating state agencies can be confusing and difficult at times. As the delegate for House District 27, I can help you communicate with state agencies such as the Virginia Employment Commission, Departments of Taxation, Social Services, Transportation, and more! I can also submit inquiries with those agencies on your behalf. There are limits to what I can do, however. For example, I am unable to expedite cases or force state agencies to favor your inquiry, provide legal advice or recommend a specific attorney, intervene with judicial issues, overturn decisions, or be involved with matters between private businesses.
Whether you require my office’s assistance, want to bring an issue to my attention or invite me to a community event, please reach out! If there is any way I can assist you, please reach out here: [link removed] [[link removed]]
Alongside constituent services, I can submit drafts for commending and memorial resolutions. If you know of a person or organization in the district that deserves special recognition, please submit a request here: resolution request form. [[link removed]]
If you are happy with he work I am doing, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election using the button below.
