Over the course of the last week, the world again took a dangerous
turn. No, not because a feud broke out between Donald Trump and Elon
Musk—despite efforts by the media to fixate on this. But because
Ukraine bombed one portion of Russia's nuclear triad, and it remains
unclear how much Western governments assisted them in the
attack.
Luckily, it appears that Russia hasn't responded irrationally,
which was the obvious goal of the strike. And President Trump did hold
a very important telephone call with Putin, which appears to have
re-emphasized the intent for improved relations between the two
leaders. However, the world remains on the edge of global disaster,
and the United States remains at the center of which direction it will
go.
The LaRouche Organization mobilized over this past week to stop
this madness. Our organizers hit the streets with an emergency
statement, deploying in front of the United Nations in NY on
Monday as well as various other locations around the country. Join our
efforts and spread the statement far and wide.
These events also underscore the fact that the LaRouche movement
has been absolutely ahead of the curve in this regard. As proof of
this, the Schiller Institute's Sebastien
Perimony was invited to speak at last week's 13th annual
“International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues” in
Moscow.
As we have insisted, this war drive is merely a reflection of a
deeper underlying problem; namely the end of the post WWII
Anglo-American system and the impending blowout of the trans-Atlantic
financial system. Only by addressing that can true peace be
achieved.
