From every corner of the country, people came together to demand better.
Dear Friend,
Yesterday, you helped make history.
Over 20,000 people took to the streets of London in a powerful show of unity and resistance. We marched through the city centre and brought London to a standstill, and with it, sent an unignorable message to those in power: we will not stay silent in the face of austerity, inequality, and injustice.
From every corner of the country, people came together to demand better. The energy, the banners, the chants, it was a vivid reminder that we are many, and together we are powerful.
But here's the truth: organising a demonstration of this scale comes with huge costs. From staging, placards, leaflets, promotion, staffing and accessibility, none of it happens without financial backing. And we don’t take a penny from big business or political parties; our strength lies in people-powered support.
If we are to continue fighting, organising, and taking to the streets, we need your help.
Here’s how you can support us:
Please become a member: A regular monthly subscription helps us plan ahead and sustain the movement.
Make a one-off donation: Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
This movement belongs to all of us. If each person reading this gave just a few pounds a month, we could fund not only yesterday’s march, but the next one, and the one after that. The struggle continues, but so does the hope.
Thank you for marching. Thank you for believing. And thank you for standing with us.
In solidarity,
Ramona McCartney
Acting National Secretary
