Happy Pride Month, everybody! We're one week in, and there are already lots of great and inspiring stories that are making our rainbows shine: from tales of allyship and solidarity to stories of coming out and romance — so let's strap on our shoes and join the good news parade!


Also, here are a few bits of good news that you might've missed: Did you hear about the championship transgender track-and-field athlete who is refusing to back down after the president targeted her? How about the successful queer-owned women's sports bar that is now expanding to four new locations nationwide? And also, the European Union just took an important stand for queer youth and LGBTQ+ expression!

Pride is a protest, and getting married was an act of protest in 1993.

From New York to Hawaii, Pride is in the air!
Over 70 European officials are going to Hungary to remind everyone that Pride is a protest.

The judge said no to queerphobia, showing that LGBTQ+ rights don't end when a queer person is behind bars.

Justin Stewart finally got to go to Pride with both of his parents last year. He'll never forget it.
