Hi, it’s Ghazala Hashmi, the Democrat running for Virginia Lieutenant Governor.

It’s official: Today marked the first weekend of early voting across our Commonwealth.

(If you live in Virginia, click here to learn where and how to vote early.)

Now, after six months of being silenced, we have a chance to send Donald Trump a loud and clear message about what we think of his presidency.

We can send a message about his draconian cuts to our federal government, attacks on abortion access, Medicaid, immigrants, and more.

Over the next ten days leading up to Election Day, we are organizing a massive get-out-the-vote operation to help send that message. But it’s expensive, and we need your help to get as many of our supporters to the polls as possible.

Please pitch in $20 or more to help us get our voters to the polls:

The last time Donald Trump was President and Republicans controlled Congress, they attacked our rights, ripped away health care, and degraded our democracy.

But back then, under Democratic leadership in VA, we were able to safeguard some of our freedoms even in the face of Republican extremism.

Now, with Governor Youngkin and Lieutenant Governor Sears at the helm, we’re left unprotected.

I’m committed to fighting back. But I need you with me. Please pitch in what you can and help us organize a Voter Turnout operation that will send a clear message to Trump and Youngkin that we’re not here to play games.

Thank you,

Ghazala Hashmi
