*Update: Special Session Scheduled for Monday*

Yesterday, I shared an update on the ongoing budget delays and where things stood at the Capitol. Just a few hours later, we received word that a special session has officially been scheduled for this coming Monday.

We’ll be heading back to St. Paul to finish the job and pass the remaining budget bills, along with a few standalone proposals. This is long overdue, but I’m glad we finally have a timeline in place.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on the final language of these bills and will continue fighting for a budget that reflects the values of our district — safer communities, a stronger economy, and responsible spending.

I’ll keep you informed as things move forward next week.
