As you can imagine, my job has changed a lot over these past few months. We went from traveling across the district and mobilizing volunteers everywhere from Mammoth Lakes to Victorville, to staying inside and organizing through Zoom calls instead.

We’ve had to rethink our field strategy, and in doing so we’re revamping one of our fun projects -- our postcard campaign.

Since the primary, we’ve sent nearly 10,000 postcards written by volunteers! Data shows that personalized messages from one member of the community to another are very effective. Hearing directly from our neighbors makes a big difference, and I know that we can move the needle in this race if we keep our postcard push going -- but we’re relying on your support. Given the limits on hosting in-person campaign events and door-to-door outreach at this time, we’ve been focusing on another good old-fashioned campaign method: sending out postcards!

Our postcard program was incredibly successful during the primary.
