You’ve likely seen the images of chaos, confusion, and violence unfolding in Gaza as families desperate to survive scramble for food and clean water. The scenes represent the convergence of prolonged deprivation and the absence of a coordinated, inclusive humanitarian response. In a recent statement, Kate Phillips-Barrasso, Mercy Corps Vice-President for Global Policy and Advocacy warned, "A trickle of aid into a place where two million people are starving is not a solution; it’s a spark in a powder keg." The clock’s ticking — we need your urgent support to scale up our aid distribution as soon as it is safe to do so. Please rush your gift right now to help meet the extraordinary needs of families in Gaza and 40+ countries around the globe.

The current volume of supplies entering Gaza is a drop in the ocean compared to what is needed. Food, medicine, and medical equipment must be fast-tracked, at no less than 600 trucks a day, alongside essentials like cooking gas, fuel, clean water, and hygiene items. These are not luxuries — they are the bare minimum for civilians to live in dignity. Mercy Corps is currently distributing cash assistance to families in Gaza. When we are permitted to scale up our response, we are poised to distribute aid to more than 160,000 people and support millions more through our humanitarian partners. You can support our lifesaving humanitarian response in Gaza and communities in crisis across the globe with an urgent gift right now. Thanks for your support, The Mercy Corps team |
