This month, as we honor the contributions and sacrifices queer people have made to make our country a better place for all, we must also confront a painful truth: the LGBTQ+ community is under attack.
Donald Trump is back in the White House. Across the nation, extremist Republican lawmakers are passing a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation: banning drag performances, targeting trans youth, banning books, and stripping away queer folks’ humanity.
But we’re not powerless. And we aren't alone.
Several groups are leading these fights — in courts, state legislatures, and beyond to ensure the safety of LGBTQ+ folks. And right now, they could really use your help, John.
