While Donald Trump and Elon Musk were posting their way through their acrimonious breakup, lobbyists were working the halls of Congress, pressuring Senators to give their billion-dollar bosses giant tax breaks, and to cut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security by as much as it takes to get it done.

The bill that passed the House of Representatives already had close to $800 billion in cuts to Medicaid, the largest provider of long-term care to seniors in the country. And it explodes the deficit with tax cuts for the wealthy so much that it would trigger about $500 billion in across-the-board cuts to Medicare. But for greedy billionaires, A TRILLION DOLLARS in Medicare & Medicaid cuts isn’t enough!
