Qasim and this campaign surprise me on an almost daily basis. As you probably know, Qasim is super transparent and is never afraid to highlight the interactions he has with constituents, supporters, or even complete strangers online. These interactions usually leave me floored because of how unexpected they are, and how they affect not just the people involved, but everyone who witnesses them.

This past week was no different. I present to you, a story in 4 tweets....

First, someone replies to Qasim with the following. Of course the “troll” being that Qasim would be offended at just the sight of bacon because he’s Muslim:

But sometimes people just don’t want to face being called out  

Our happily ever after occurred when someone literally sent Qasim a massive shipment of chocolate.

When you lead with compassion, compassion not only finds you it even has has a ripple effect. Qasim has the most compassionate & kind twitter followers in the world. Together, we are going to win and send more compassion to Congress.
