Looking Toward Special Session

Minnesotans expect legislators to work in the best interests of their constituents and to get their work done on time.  The failure to finish on time can be directly tied to House Democrats playing political games and skipping work the first three weeks of session. As we move towards special session, Senate Republicans will continue to advocate for policies that put Minnesotans first.

As our community grows, I remain committed to updating infrastructure and working with state and local officials to meet regional needs and keep motorists safe.

This policy is about removing unnecessary barriers to the accounting profession while maintaining high standards. Minnesota’s 150 credit hour requirement hasn’t improved results. Instead, it has increased costs and discouraged students from becoming CPAs.
