Happy Pride Month!

This month is a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community’s many accomplishments and contributions to our country.

However, it’s also a powerful reminder of what we’re still fighting for. Across the country, too many LGBTQ+ community members are being targeted by legislation that seeks to erase their identities, limit their rights, and silence their voices.

That’s why Pride matters – not just in June, but every single day. Everyone deserves the right to be themselves and love who they love.

I’m proud to support the LGBTQ+ community in Maryland and across the country. At every level of government, we must work towards a country where everyone has the freedom to be who they are.

I hope you’ll join me in celebrating the LGBTQ+ community this Pride month! We’d love for you to march with us at the first-ever Frederick Pride on Friday, June 27.
