A full US-UK trade deal will hand Big Tech more power, allowing them to exploit data, dodge taxes and deepen global inequality. Trump and his oligarch friends are moving fast to seal the deal. So, we need to move fast to stop them! Will you help our campaign by donating today?

Hi John,
So far, Donald Trump’s 'comprehensive' trade deal with Britain is little more than a handshake and a headline.
The ‘deal’ announced last month with much fanfare was not legally binding, and it left practically everything still to be discussed. Other than some welcome reductions in Trump’s tariffs, it was more of a press release to say the US and UK will negotiate a full trade treaty in the coming months.
While Trump and our prime minister have fired the starting pistol on a trade deal, this race is far from run. A full US-UK trade treaty will go beyond tariffs and stretch into areas like tech and artificial intelligence (AI), food standards and public services. It could be a disaster for all of us – but there’s still time to stop it.
Big Tech billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos have everything to gain from a trade deal to lock in their power, slash their tax bill, and gain even more control over our data, including NHS medical records.
Trump and his oligarch allies are rushing to seal the full deal, so we must act quickly. Stopping it won’t be easy, but we’ve defeated a US trade deal twice before, and with your support, we can do it again.
Your donation could help us meet with MPs, fund crucial research, and build the activist movement against this deal. Will you donate £5 today to make this happen?

As we enter this new digital age we must ensure technology serves people, not giant corporations. Instead of giving corporations free rein to profit, we need to empower governments and regulators to act in the public interest and guide us responsibly into the future. A full US-UK trade deal could make this impossible.
We know the US is already pushing Britain to drop its digital services tax, a small but important step toward tackling Big Tech’s tax dodging, which is set to raise £5 billion by 2030. But the stakes are even higher. This deal could hand Big Tech the right to exploit our personal data – including medical information from the NHS – and lock in a low-regulation environment for emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI).
This isn’t just a UK issue. Trump’s trade agenda is part of a global push by billionaires to entrench their power and rewrite the rules of the global economy. We’ve stopped US trade deals before – and we can do it again. But we need to act fast, together.
Your donation today could:
* Help mobilise grassroots activists to raise awareness about how a full US-UK trade deal could weaken regulations of digital technology, locking us into a future of digital exploitation.
* Help fund meetings with MPs to ensure they understand the dangers of the US-UK trade deal, and build a strong network of parliamentary allies to oppose it.
* Contribute towards research that counters Big Tech’s influence in trade negotiations, ensuring our personal data and privacy aren’t exploited in future deals.
* Support us in building international coalitions to push governments across the world to reject toxic corporate-driven trade deals.
As part of a global movement for justice, we must stand together across borders to resist Trump’s corporate agenda. We can – and must – stand up against big corporations and the politicians doing their bidding around the world.
Thank you for taking a stand and being part of the fight for a better global economy.
Best wishes
Nick Dearden,
Director at Global Justice Now
PS. A full US-UK trade deal would let Big Tech exploit data, dodge taxes, and fuel inequality. Trump is moving fast to seal it. Help us stop him by donating towards our campaign today. ([link removed])
