Let’s be clear: There is no room for disinformation in the middle of a national crisis.

The congresswoman is doing everything within her power to help her constituents pull through this trying time, but some folks, including one of her opponents, are spreading disinformation to attack her.

Stop the spread of disinformation & mudslinging

Recently, one of Stephanie’s opponents used disinformation to try to shift blame away from Governor DeSantis's ongoing unemployment insurance fiasco -- and then said Stephanie is actually to blame for the state's failure. He even had the gall to go so far as to erroneously accuse her of opposing direct assistance to families in need.

This couldn’t be further from the truth. After voting to send millions to Florida for unemployment assistance, Stephanie has called on the governor and other state leaders to fix the broken unemployment system. She’s also demanded a federal investigation into its abysmal failure.

Stephanie also supported direct economic stimulus payments to families, and critical parts of her Emergency Paid Leave Act became law -- helping families who have to stay home because their children are out of school.
