The question is pretty simple… So, does it matter?**VICTORY** Massive Tax On Water Gas Water Heaters And Furnices Defeated At SCQMD District Meeting Just NowThousands of protest emails and speakers, combined with a hard-hitting letter from the U.S. Attorney clearly played a role!
The South Coast Air Quality Management District Board of Directors just voted 5-7 (one seat is vacant) just voted to reject the new tax proposal in front of them. This is a huge victory for people in Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange and San Bernardino County — who are spared from an outrageous and imprudent policy. Economic times are tough right now — this is not a good time (if there is ever a good time) for this kind of expensive mandate. No doubt this will come back around again, but this is how you stop growth in government size and stop new regulations — one victory at a time! EVERYONE SHOULD BE EXCITED ABOUT TODAY’S HUGE WIN, but we need to be vigilant. This isn’t going away…. Here’s how the votes went down: Chair Vanessa Delgado: YES Michael Cacciotti: YES Curt Hagman: NO Patricia Lock Dawson: NO Larry McCallon: NO Holly Mitchell: YES Janet Nguyen: NO Brenda Olmos: NO Veronica Padilla-Campos: YES V. Manuel Perez: NO Nithya Raman: YES Carlos Rodriguez: NO If you like this kind of content, subscribe, and share! So, Does It Matter? - with Jon Fleischman is free today.
