When Trump was running for office, he vowed to not touch Social Security.
Clearly, he lied:

Since elected, Trump’s administration has:

- Cut the Social Security Administration’s staffing by 7,000 jobs – 12% of the workforce
- Closed regional offices, cutting off access to rural and disabled Seniors
- Created longer wait times for recipients to receive their benefits

This is a de facto cut to a program millions of Americans rely on for financial security.

We need to fight back now – when it’s still possible for us to reverse course and prevent further harm to Social Security and Americans who rely on it for financial security.
