Pennsylvania Capital-Star: 'Undoubtedly disappointing' voter turnout in 2025 Pennsylvania primary

John, every Pennsylvanian knows that we are the battleground state. There's just no path to the House, the Senate, or the Presidency without us. Which is why it's so concerning that there was such low turnout for the 2025 primaries.

We can't let something like this happen in 2026. The stakes are too high, and the margins will be too close. We need to be turning out every potential voter like our futures depend on it, because they absolutely do.

There is so much on the line for Pennsylvanians and for our country as a whole. We've seen what Trump and his allies are capable of, and we have the opportunity to prevent them from exercising their radical agenda unchecked. There is no room for error between now and election day.

While this news is disappointing, let it motivate you. Together, we can do better to meet our friends where they're at and make sure we're turning as many people out to the polls as possible.
