Trustee Appointments and Statewide Engagement

John,

On Monday, Governor Braun made several new appointments and reappointments to
various state boards and commissions, including the Indiana University Board of
Trustees. Governor Braun appointed Sage Steele, James Bopp Jr., Brian Eagle,
and W. Quinn Buckner to the Indiana University Board of Trustees. These
appointments will not only keep our state's flagship university fiscally sound,
but help to ensure antisemitism, censorship, and radical leftwing ideologies
will no longer dictate university policy.

In addition to his Board of Trustees appointments, Governor Braun appointed
members to the following boards: All Payers Claims Data Base Advisory Board,
Board of Accountancy, Board of Proprietary Education, Coroners Training Board,

Indiana Board of Licensure for Professional Geologists, the Indiana Election
Commission, and the Ball State Board of Trustees.

This week, Governor Braun traveled across the state, emphasizing his
commitment to civic involvement, innovation, and economic growth. On Monday, he
spoke at the Scouting America Southern Indiana Distinguished Citizen Award
Luncheon in Borden, then welcomed international guests to Indianapolis for the
Global Entrepreneurship Congress, where he moderated the opening panel. On
Thursday, he participated in a fireside chat at the Innovation Showcase in
Indianapolis, followed by a ceremonial signing of SEA 520 in Fort Wayne with
Rep. Martin Carbaugh and Sen. Justin Busch. He ended the day with another
fireside chat at the Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Annual Meeting.

As Senator, Mike Braun made annual visits to every corner of our state, all 92
counties, and I am proud to join him in carrying on that tradition! I have
already had the opportunity to meet with grassroots leaders and everyday
Hoosiers from 42 of our incredible counties, and to see so much of our great
state along the way!

As always, thank you for being a part of our team. Please feel free to reach
out if there's anything I can assist with.

Lana Keesling, Indiana GOP Chairwoman
