If you live in Nassau, Suffolk, or Queens, you’re probably paying some of the highest taxes in the country. And on top of that, you’re being taxed again on money you already paid in state and local taxes.

That’s not just wrong. It’s double taxation. I’ve been fighting to end it since day one.

When the SALT deduction cap was slashed, middle-class families in our district took the hit. That’s why I’ve made restoring SALT a top priority. This isn’t about party politics. It’s about fairness.

I’ve worked across the aisle to:
✅ Speak out about raising the SALT cap
✅ Bring relief to New York families
✅ Push back against both parties when they’ve broken promises

We made progress this year, but we’re not done yet. I won’t stop fighting until families in Long Island and Queens get the relief they deserve.

But I need your help to stay in this fight. I’m one of just 13 Democrats in the country representing a district that President Trump also won. National Republicans are already spending big to try to flip this seat.
