*Dear friends and neighbors,*

A special session has been agreed to by legislative leaders and the Governor to pass the remainder of the state’s budget for Monday, June 9. In a tied government, there are provisions included in the bills that are not ideal, however, I am proud of the work to hold the line on many policies that are important to our district and the state of Minnesota and will continue this advocacy through the end of the special session. 

Most importantly, this work is critical for our state to maintain a balanced budget and avoid a government shutdown.

The regular rules of the House will be suspended to allow the legislature to pass all bills in a single legislative day, beginning on Monday, June 9, at 10:00 am. All bills must be passed before 7:00 am on Tuesday, June 10.
