Friend,
I’m Chris Pappas, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire. Tim Kaine said I could reach out to you today with a special message about Pride.
I’ve always admired Harvey Milk. He changed history and paved the way for folks like me when he became one of the first openly gay elected officials in America fifty years ago.
Since then there have been numerous other examples of LGBTQ+ leaders elected across the country, like Tammy Baldwin, Pete Buttigieg, and Sarah McBride, just to name a few.
These leaders have broken down barriers, stood up to discrimination, and fought for a vision of our country where every American can live with safety, dignity, and equality.
I’m proud to be a part of that legacy – and to carry the torch forward with this campaign.
If elected I’ll be the first openly gay man to ever serve in the U.S. Senate. And I will work as hard as I can when I’m in the Senate to ensure everyone – no matter who they are or who they love – has the freedom and opportunity to thrive, whether that means owning a home, starting a family, opening a small business, or anything else in between.
This Pride Month, I’m asking for your support to power this grassroots campaign. We’re on the verge of making history, but we can’t win this fight without a strong foundation.
Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans would like nothing more than to flip this pivotal Senate seat red next November – but if we fight back, we can stop them in their tracks.
Are you with me? Donate $40 now to my campaign and Tim Kaine. Together we can keep this seat blue and make LGBTQ+ history at the same time.
