November is still a few months away, but the Minneapolis election season is in full swing. It’s a crowded field this year and there’s a lot to learn about the candidates before November. That’s why we at FairVote Minnesota are hosting a Meet & Greet with the mayoral candidates, including DeWayne Davis, Omar Fateh, Jacob Frey, Jazz Hampton, and Brenda Short!
Join us at Graze Food Hall on Tuesday, June 24 from 5:30 to 7:30pm as we gather to talk to the candidates and learn more about them and their platforms.
In contrast to the structured debates and forums we’ve seen so far this year, this will be a fun, informal gathering where voters are free to move about the room, meet the candidates, and ask questions. We hope that this approach will help voters better get to know the candidates, and encourage them to think about how they can best rank their preferences on November’s ranked ballot. Please register early to reserve your sport, and spread the word—all are welcome!
