** Convention Recap!

Thank you for supporting Young Dems at Convention! Your support helped over 50 Young Democrats from Orange County attend the convention and a record SEVEN college chapters.
We kicked off the weekend with a historic opening reception, where over 600 people enjoyed a night of dancing at our Welcome to 🍊C event hosted with CYD and Toni Atkins for Governor.
On Saturday, we elected OCYD Membership Director Ryan Pham as Orange County’s new CYD OC Regional Director! We thank Jeanie Le for her years of service to our region and look forward to Ryan’s tenure!
We finished the weekend by receiving “Volunteer Chapter of the Year” from the California Democratic Party! We are absolutely thrilled to receive this recognition and look forward to continue organizing in the next year.

** Young Dems National Convention
------------------------------------------------------------
Every two years, the Young Democrats of America hosts a convention that brings together hundreds of young Democrats for training, strategic planning, networking, and the election of the YDA officers for the next biennium. The 2025 National Convention of the Young Democrats of America will take place July 16th through July 19th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown.
OCYD will not be fundraising for this convention, but members are coordinating travel plans. While the deadline for California delegates has passed, all interested members are encouraged to attend and build national personal and professional connections. More details will be shared as they become available.
