The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) held a public hearing on June 6, 2025, regarding five petitions requesting that areas in Harris County near Clear Lake be determined as underserved. This would allow the Texas FAIR Plan Association to provide property owners' associations insurance to the area. A video recording of the June 6, 2025 hearing will be on the TDI website within the next few days.
TDI is extending the period to provide written comment on these petitions.
