[link removed] [[link removed]] Friend, it’s Phil.
I have an important update on the lawsuit I filed to stop Donald Trump from illegally shuttering AmeriCorps: The federal judge sided with us, and granted a preliminary injunction to block Trump’s order in Colorado while our litigation plays out in court.
This is a big victory for Coloradans across the state who rely on the critical work AmeriCorps volunteers contribute to our communities. But our work doesn’t stop here.
I’ll keep fighting in and out of court to protect the vital work of agencies like AmeriCorps in our state, because I refuse to stand by and let Donald Trump undermine critical programs that help countless Coloradans each year.
Please take a moment to read more about the actions I’ve taken to defend Coloradans from Trump’s abuse of executive power below, and if you’re with me, chip in to my campaign for Governor to help me continue the fight to protect Coloradans and their rights. → [[link removed]?]

Friend, as Attorney General, I’ve taken on powerful special interests and irresponsible companies who prey on Colorado consumers.
Since Donald Trump took office, I added a second critical responsibility to my job description. And it might be hard to keep track, but so far, I’ve sued Trump and his administration *21 times* to block his frequent, illegal abuses of executive power.
Because when Colorado is under attack, I step up.
I want to share with you the work we’ve done to defend Coloradans, but if you don’t have time to read about these many lawsuits, I’d appreciate if you could chip in to my campaign for Governor today. Every dollar donated helps power this campaign to fight for all Coloradans → [[link removed]?]

On day one of Trump’s presidency, it became clear that I’d have my work cut out for me—and my office got to work right away.
When Donald Trump attempted to override the Fourteenth Amendment and ban birthright citizenship— on his first day in office —I took him to court and blocked his illegal order.
I beat Trump in court to stop him from unlawfully accessing Coloradans’ private data.
I sued the Trump administration to stop the president from meddling in Colorado’s free and fair elections.
I’m fighting in court to stop Donald Trump from abusing the law to unilaterally impose tariffs without Congressional approval.
And when Trump moved to illegally fire 90% of AmeriCorps’ workforce and shutter the agency, I led a multi-state coalition to sue his administration in court—and won again.
These are just a fraction of the actions we’ve taken to defend Coloradans and their rights from federal overreach. For a discussion of our lawsuits to protect Colorado, take a look at this recent article [[link removed]] in the Denver Post.
I refuse to stand by and accept the lawlessness of the Trump administration. I’m proud of my record taking on big fights to defend Coloradans—no matter how big or powerful my opposition is.
I love Colorado, I believe in the people of Colorado, and listen, I’ll use every tool at my disposal to protect your rights—even when I have to take on the President of the United States.
Our next governor must be willing to fight the lawless actions of this White House. Now more than ever, we need leaders willing to stand on principle and take on tough fights, not compromise on our priorities and flee from that fight. And I’m already in this fight.
Are you with me? Chip in what you can to my campaign for Governor today and let’s continue to fight for Colorado → [[link removed]?]
