Last week, House Republicans passed Trump’ budget bill that includes the largest cuts to health care and food assistance in American history to pay for billionaire tax cuts — showing once more that the GOP’s priority will always be Trump’s billionaire backers, not working families.

This bill would result in working families once again footing the bill for America’s wealthiest.

While Democrats have been unanimously opposed to this garbage from the beginning, it looks like Trump has lost even his biggest supporter.

But let's not be fooled - Musk is only upset because, despite spending hundreds of millions to buy the presidency, he is set to lose billions in government contracts as result of this bill. Oh no! 

Donald Trump and Elon Musk may not be friends today, but they will never be friends of the American People. They represent the pinnacle of the greed and corruption that has undermined working people for the last half-century. 

While they control the levers now, it is entirely in our hands to ensure that 2026 will be the end of this gilded government’s ability to enrich themselves on the backs of working families.
