Hi friend, today I’m wearing orange, and I hope you will too.

I’m wearing orange because I’m sick of waking up to news of another school shooting.

I’m sick of watching Republican leaders offer thoughts and prayers, and then block every single policy that could actually keep our kids safe.

That’s why I’m asking you to take a simple but powerful step with me: Will you add your name to say enough is enough — and demand action to end gun violence?

In Allegheny County and Philadelphia, we’ve seen the results when communities get the tools and funding they need: double-digit drops in gun deaths. But that progress is under attack. Republicans in the Senate are doing everything they can to reverse it.

We’ve begged. We’ve marched. We’ve cried with grieving parents. We’ve listened to students relive their trauma on the Capitol steps.

Enough.

We know what works, and we know who’s standing in the way. That’s why we need to speak up, get loud, and show up in numbers. Friend, add your name and say: We demand real action on gun safety now.

Thanks for standing with me, and for refusing to accept this as normal.
