ARIZONA = FIRST "FREEDOM CAUCUS" STATE?

When we started the Network a little over three years ago, we quickly realized that creating a liberty-loving "Freedom Caucus" State is a 3-step process:

1. Help start and support state freedom caucuses.  We've done this in 13 states so far and the plan is to get into all 50 states.

2. Help state freedom caucuses take over the legislature.  The Wyoming Freedom Caucus was the first in the nation to go from just 8 state house members to now controlling the WY State House.

3. Getting a state to have a "Freedom Caucus" governor and a State Freedom Caucus.  The pinnacle of success, the state of pure liberty nirvana, is to have both of these.  We have a strong Arizona Freedom Caucus and HFC member, Congressman Andy Biggs, who is currently the Republican frontrunner in that state's 2026 gubernatorial race.  We have an opportunity to take a purple state and turn it brick red if we can get Biggs and AZFC working together starting in 2027.  Our friends at Turning Point just released a new TV ad highlighting the success that could come with a Governor Biggs at the helm.  Watch it here.  Go Biggs or go home!

RESCISSIONS PACKAGE HITS CONGRESS

Earlier this week, the State Freedom Caucus Network publicly got the back of our brothers and sisters in the House Freedom Caucus for supporting the $9.4 billion rescissions package that OMB Director Russ Vought sent to Congress to consider.  

We believe a vote could occur as early as next week.  

Here's our statement:

PENNSYLVANIA

The Pennsylvania Freedom Caucus has been on a long crusade to stop the four top universities in the state from conducting barbaric practices on confused children who think they are transgender.

Because of the PAFC's dogged persistence, they have gotten the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State to completely stop.  Now they have forced Penn to do the same.  Temple is the only one that remains...and their days are numbered.

ILLINOIS

The Democrat supermajority in Springfield passed a bloated budget with tax hikes and pay raises for lawmakers just before midnight on Saturday.  And they broke several laws while ramming it through.

Most Republican lawmakers would vote NO and then just grumble about it afterwards privately and maybe publicly.

But the Illinois Freedom Caucus isn't going to sit still and let them get away with it.  Yesterday, the ILFC filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of how it was passed.  See their press release below.

The ILFC's chairman, State Rep. Chris Miller, also gave a fiery speech on the House floor calling the budget a "generational curse on Illinois families".  Watch it here.
