For months after last year’s elections, a Republican Supreme Court candidate — who LOST in November — tried to have tens of thousands of North Carolinians’ votes THROWN OUT so he could claim victory. A federal judge put a stop to that anti-democratic lawsuit last month. But it’s clear that this is the new GOP playbook if they lose: challenge votes and disenfranchise voters after the fact. This is a blatant attack on North Carolinians’ fundamental right to be heard at the ballot box, so we need to fight back.
