CADEM Convention & Upcoming Events

Our El Dorado County Democrats were out in force this last weekend at the CADEM Convention in Anaheim. At the annual state convention, Democrats from throughout California come together to celebrate the party's strength and chart our path forward. Delegates elected new Party Officers and Regional Directors, welcomed new delegates, and began the vital work of organizing for 2026.

Our own Michael Saunders was elected to Chair the Rural Caucus for the 25-26 session. Congratulations Michael!!!

Congressman Tom McClintock voted to strip healthcare and food from working families and raise their cost of living, while refusing to hold town halls or listen to his constituents – but for $75/pp, he and State Senator Marie Alvarado-Gill ARE providing access to exclusive guests, while celebrating at a GOP summer party in El Dorado Hills.
