It’s true: we are in a time of unprecedented worldwide change. We’ve seen more cultural & political shifts in the past month than in the past few decades. It’s incredibly promising to be in such a history-making
moment. But when the crowds die down—because they will—we need leaders who are still willing to take up the torch for the causes that
matter most.

Fact: Female-identified voters have outvoted men in every midterm election since 1998 and every congressional & presidential election since 1964.

Fact: Black women are the most under-funded demographic of all political candidates for Congress.

It’s 2020, and we still have far too few leaders who uncompromisingly stand for the needs, lives, and futures of ALL women. The solution is simple: elect more experienced, committed, and vocal women of color to Congress.

On this week’s #CoffeeWithCori, Cori will join legendary feminist V
(formerly Eve Ensler, author of the Vagina Monologues) to discuss what it means to be a champion for women. You can save the date for this Thursday, June 18 RIGHT NOW by registering here. Is there a better way to spend a Thursday night?!

The situation is grim for women across St. Louis—let alone the nation. While Congressman Clay is largely absent from the district, his female constituents are suffering from a vicious cycle of wage inequality, housing insecurity, domestic abuse, and payday loan debt. Cori knows that we cannot break this violent cycle with some bandaids and a few well-timed words from our elected officials.

If you want a future in which all women are happy, healthy, and thriving, then we need champions like Cori. Join us this Thursday to learn what it’ll take to get there.

In solidarity,

Team Cori
