Dear Friend,
I hope you are doing well during this unprecedented time.
As your Representative in Congress, I am committed to ensuring the health and well-being of every individual impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the 6th District, the state of Wisconsin, and the country as a whole. The spread of COVID-19 is an extremely serious situation, one that has upended everyday life in the United States and throughout the world. During these trying times, we need to be doing all we can to keep healthy. That includes social distancing, wearing a face covering when appropriate, washing our hands and disinfecting surfaces we frequently touch. All of these things can help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep you and your family safe.
To date, Congress has passed five separate bills, or phases, of legislation to combat COVID-19 and provide vital aid to our medical professionals, business community and American workers. These bills included resources to respond to COVID-19 through research for treatment and cures, funding for state and local governments, disaster loans for small businesses, and tax credits for American families.
These bills have funded numerous assistance programs for individuals, business owners, farmers, and veterans. Below are links to these assistance programs and federal agency websites which can help with general information on COVID-19, staying safe as you return to the workplace, tax refund information, travel guidelines, small business assistance including the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and other programs, the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) for farmers, veteran assistance, and much more.
I want you to know I am working diligently to help the country get through this difficult situation as I keep you, your family, and the people of the 6th District in mind. If you need help with any of the departments or programs listed above, please call my Fond du Lac office at (920) 907-0624 or send me an email by clicking here. My staff and I will be happy to help you.
Representing you in Congress is an honor and I appreciate hearing from you. Should you have other concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
