These are cooked just before getting sent out to you; they are cleaned, meaning the carapace and innards/"butter" are removed, and you'll receive that sweet, succulent crab meat in the shell for the legs, claws, and remainder of the body.

Fresh Dungeness Crab
They're often affectionately called "Dungies," which are highly valued for their sweet, tender meat and are known for yielding a significant amount of crab meat per catch. Their flavor is delightful, making them a favorite among seafood enthusiasts.
To enjoy, we recommend you:

* Stir fry with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and scallions for a little Asian flare (my personal favorite)

Fresh Halibut
This week, we also have beautiful fresh Halibut being caught right now in the Monterey Bay by fisherman Josh Loya ([link removed]) . High-quality, firm-textured, and mildly flavored, this fish will sing in whatever recipe you have up your sleeve. Grill it and pair with whatever vegetables and herbs you have in abundance, have it raw in a ceviche (it's delicious!), or bake it with white wine and capers - it is a delight that will please all the tastebuds around your table. Fresh Rockfish
Rockfish is a key species for local fishermen, particularly in the Monterey Bay area, where the diversity of habitats—like kelp forests and rocky reefs—make it an ideal environment for these fish to thrive. Our partner fishermen use methods like hook-and-line fishing and selective trapping to ensure we’re minimizing bycatch and reducing our impact on the ocean. By supporting this fishery, you’re helping to protect marine life and contribute to the long-term health of one of the most productive ecosystems in the Pacific.

ORDERS: Use the Real Good Fish website to view featured items in the flash sale for this week and place your order. The sale closes at 10 am PST on Friday morning. If you are outside of the Western states, please contact us, and we can upgrade the shipping to overnight for an additional fee, or send the product to arrive after the weekend.
DELIVERY: All deliveries will be sent to the address you choose in checkout. This can be the address you use for your general Real Good Fish deliveries or an alternative shipping address. Deliveries will be made on Friday or Saturday to your door, depending when the order is placed.
SHIPPING: Enjoy free shipping on any orders over $100. For any orders less than $100, there will be a $35 shipping charge added to the final total. Delivery is available nationwide but any locations outside of CA, NV, UT, AZ, WA, OR, or ID will be subject to an additional shipping fee.
